Did you read that somewhere on the tx site? I haven't heard that of any state. I know some are sticky about sending kids out of state but I don't know of any state with rules regarding it. Let me know where you found that out...I am very interested in learning more. :) Thanks!!!
I thought I had read it on the website but checked again and TX does work with other states, but you have to be approved in your own state first. It says, "You are not yet approved to foster or adopt? Texas Residents: Fill out your area's Interest Form Non-Texas residents: Please visit your state's web site. Texas works with interested families from other states, however we cannot approve or develop home studies on families outside Texas. We encourage you to get approved to adopt within your state first."

I think you have to live in Texas though.
