Music ideas needed.

I have a couple of projects I am creating that I need help with.
#1
I am creating a dvd for Ashanti to send with her belated Birthday presents.
I am about finished with it but I am stuck on songs to use. Some of the ones I thought fit my feelings aren't good to use for this...I don't want to send the wrong message to her family.
"The Prayer" that is in the movie "Quest for Camelot" is one of the songs I have chosen. I love it for many reasons...sung by Celine Dion but it isn't the typical version. I have always felt it sounds like a Birth Mother prayer for the baby she placed....but it also fits for this dvd. I have a couple of other songs in mind but I wanted to see if you have favorites songs you might share with me.

I am putting together a play list for my ipod to use when exercising. I love fun upbeat songs but I get distracted when there is bad language....so I am looking for squeaky clean upbeat songs. I have started a list that includes things we hear on the radio now...back in the 80's and Disney songs. What do you like to exercise to???

If you have ideas for either or both of these projects please leave the song name and artist in the comments section.

Thanks for the help!!!!
I am having music block. :)

For Ashanti's DVD try "You'll Be in My Heart" by Phil Collins. (From Tarzan)

Mary, the phil collins song was my first choice actually and then I listened to all the words and I can't use it. :( Sad hu! :)

You guys pick good songs...we must think alike. :)

Hey Brenda,

Check out Pandora.com. It's a type of free internet radio. You can create your own "station" by plugging in a song or artist that you like and it will play songs that are in the same genre or have the same kind of sound. I have found a lot of cool songs and artists that I like that way. Just enter a song that you like and start listening to seei if something plays that will work.

If you want something a little lighter for Ashanti's video, listen to ABC's of Me, Happy Song, or Bottle of Sunshine by Milkshake, New Morning by Elizabeth Mitchell & Lisa Loeb, or a fun version of Blue Skies. Another sweet one is Justin Roberts' Song For You. I also love For Good from the Wicked soundtrack. That could be really tender.
