Fried Pickles

For breakfast this morning I made fried pickles.
I know...sounds weird hu!
But they are so yummy!

I was introduced to fried pickles by Steve Sunday at a lunch meeting at The Garden resturaunt. This meeting took place back in 2005.
It changed my life!

It was during this meeting that I recieved the answer to the question I had been asking for years.
I came away from this meeting knowing the Lord had always planned for us to adopt..it is part of our mission in life.
I also saw clearly how the Lord had been preparing me for adoption and to work in adoption for many years...long before I even knew Brad. My questions were answered and I never looked back. Adoption was where I was always meant to be, how my children were meant to come and adoption would be the key to talents I never knew I could have.

Everytime I eat a fried pickle I remember this life changing day and I am so thankful for the tender mercies of the Lord!

Funny how we associate food to life events....at least I do. :)
