Utah
David age 11.
Whether it’s playing outdoors or splashing in the water, David enjoys being active. Many who know him describe him as “...energetic, sweet, and loving”. Two of David’s dreams are to become a fireman and to have a family to love and care for him. This preteen is always interested in learning new things.

David is in fifth grade where he benefits from an IEP (Individualized Education Plan). He currently attends counseling, which will need to continue after placement.

If your family can help make this dynamic boy’s wishes come true and can offer him support and compassion, we urge you to inquire. David would like a family who will allow him to continue contact with his sister. Financial assistance may be provided for adoption-related services.

For Utah children, only homestudied families from all states are encouraged to inquire.

Oregon Laura age 2. Laura is a delightful girl with a sunny disposition. Laura does not express herself with words but is able to express happiness and displeasure through her unique sounds. She loves to sit in her bouncy chair and kick her legs. She also likes to activate the music on a pull toy that hangs above her crib. Laura responds to sounds and touch. She loves to be held and smiles when she is happy. She does seem to try and track the voice or face of the person speaking with her. Laura needs to be supervised 24 hours a day, and is soothed by being held. She is now able to hold her head up and sit for short periods of time. With the right therapy and attention, it is possible that she could very well crawl or walk some day. Laura needs a loving and committed family, who can put her needs above their own. She needs a family with some knowledge of medically fragile children, who are willing to work with her treatment team to help her thrive. With a family, who can focus on her strengths and appreciate her capacity to love, Laura will be a joy to raise.

I am told MO is a good state to work with.

I don't have permission to feature these children or I would do it. :)
