I Count! My Journey to a Better Me.

It has been 10 days since I started worked in high gear to drop pounds.   I have learned a few things about myself.
1.  I need to drink water way more than I do.
2.  I truly am addicted to caffeinated diet soda. (I tried to convince myself I wasn't...but I was in denial)
3.  Staying up late gets me in trouble with extra empty calories.
4.  I am serious this time around.
5.  I can get a good workout even though I am limited on the types of exercise I can use.

My weigh in day is on Saturday mornings.   I have lost 4 pounds.   I am so excited!!!   I still have a long way to go but I am off to a great start!
I haven't gotten my calories down to 1200-1400 a day but I seem to hover around 1600.  I can see clearly today how I can change that and get to the numbers I want.   But it does take planning.  Even at 1600 or even 1800 I am eating about 800-1000 calories less than I was.   So I am trying not to be too hard on myself for not being in the range I want to be in at this time.
If you want to follow my daily log go here.
Sometimes it is hard to publicize what I am doing.  But I have to keep myself accountable and maybe the honesty will help someone else who is like me....battling weight!

The most difficult part of change is realizing a need to change and then beginning to make the change and you've done that! I am so glad that you are seeing success. You're AWESOME!!!
