One of our FSA National Board projects is to create a blog that shares success stories of FSA couples who have used various promoting methods to help make an adoption happen.
Some call this type of adoption a "Designated Adoption".
We have the blog up (finally...the header was the hold up) with two success stories. We are still adding links but the blog is ready to use and we want to load it up with stories of how couples who promoted themselves found success.
So...
if you know of a good story please ask the couple if they would be willing to share it on the blog. If they say yes email me their email address and we will send them information on what we need from them.
Also..
please pass this request along..we really want this blog to help couples who are hoping to adopt!

ours was a designated adoption don't know if you want it for the blog we waited 6 years but after promoting ourselves to friends through christmas letters and emails we were matched with not one but two birthmothers within a week one decided to parent and the other did place with us. Only thing now is our son suffers from Fetal Alcohol. Let me know. I'm a lurker of your blog...got to know ya a little from Hope to Adopt and LDSadoptiveparents yahoo group
