Matching Mondays

Utah
Alisia age 11.
This very athletic girl loves to ride her bike and play outside. Jumping on the trampoline, dancing, and singing are three activities Alisia enjoys doing. She is a mover! Having one-on-one time with adults and helping people make Alisia happy. Alisia is currently in the fifth grade. She also attends counseling, which will need to continue after placement. If your family is interested in this active girl, we urge you to inquire. Alisia dreams of having a family. Her caseworker feels that she would do best in a loving and supportive home.

California
Elizabeth, Linda & Kimberly ages 5,4 & 2.
Elizabeth, Linda, and Kimberly are an adorable sibling set of three who love to play. Going to the park is one of their favorite things to do. They love being in the outdoors where they can run around and explore. You can often find them swinging on the swing sets giggling with one another. They are almost inseparable!

Texas
Syra age 4.
Syra is an extremely happy child and is constantly bringing a smile to the faces of those around her. She loves being the center of attention and gets jealous when the foster family is paying more attention to her foster sister. She is very verbal, and lets out a squeal when she sees or hears something she likes. She laughs and smiles constantly, and can be very silly. She is able to sit up on her own, and is learning to scoot around the room. Syra has been diagnosed with shaken baby syndrome. She is partially paralyzed on her right side, but has retained some movement of her right arm and leg, although not of her right hand. Syra is currently fed through a G-tube button, but is beginning to learn how to eat some food orally. She is receiving therapy weekly and continues to make progress.

Washington
Tayvian age 12.
Tayvian is a bright, handsome boy, enjoys school and is getting A's and B's on his report card. He is an excellent artist, too! Physically coordinated, he does well in sports and is a good team player. Not only that, Tayvian shows musical talents, and enjoys playing drums and guitar. Other strong suits include a good sense of humor and increased cooperative play with peers and older siblings. Tayvian's significant progress in being willing and able to talk about his thoughts and feelings instead of acting them out has made a big difference in his daily life. He has made important gains, too, in developing tools and strategies to help him deal with stress and disappointments.
