Question for Mom's with Newborns...

Do you feel like a Zombie?
Do you crave carbs like crazy and wish you had a drink holder attached to your hip for your diet coke?
Do you just want to veg on the couch and watch Pride & Prejudice?
Do you cry over stupid things and feel like you don't have any friends?
Do you feel like a slug?
Please remind me I am normal and this part will go away in time.

I love that just to the right of this post in your sidebar is your kids pic with the words "and then there was joy." Coincidence? Maybe. I know you are enjoying this new baby, you just need some sleep. Wish I could be closer so I could baby sit!

Most of it goes away, thank goodness. Just remember it may be the last and you will only get more sleep as the weeks go on. Wish I could come and watch the kiddos for you to sleep. I can say that though as Landon is taking a nap right now. In my shear tiresomeness I have called someone in RS to come and help. It worked! Good Luck on the sleep and who knows maybe oh maybe Brad will bring you home a diet coke.

It's normal! And it goes away pretty quick, within a few months if he turns out to be a good sleeper, and then you will barely even remember all of this! Enjoy it while it lasts... at least you have an excuse to sit around drinking diet coke and watchin pride and prejudice... I have no excuse. :)

Oh how you'll miss this time when he'll just sleep in your arms and cuddle and he needs you so much- Once it's all over and your baby starts doing things for himself- I promise that you'll long for it. So right now in the midst of all the crying millions of messes, frazzled nerves and little to no sleep try to take a step back every once in a while and remember that You're going to miss this.... One day!:)

I hope I am not coming across as ungrateful....I am extremly grateful. I am just tired and I seem to talk about everything I feel...if you haven't noticed. LOL :) Thanks for reminding me I am normal.

Oh I know how grateful you are for your awesome awesome little guy. I guess As I was reading your post that country song "Your gonna Miss this"(not sure who it's by) just kept coming to mind, I can say that because my baby is now two and I do really miss it- Sorry-- Now go get some sleep- You deserve it!

Seriously eh! Love this post cause I kind of felt like that for the first 2 months then I started feeling like I could function a little better. Joys eh all of it pretty soon we'll forget this stage all together so I decided to just enjoy it while it lasts! Good luck though your not alone!! Where are the pictures of this cute little guy!!

I've heard it called the "newborn hangover" and I would have to agree with you on everything you said. And of course you're grateful...I'm grateful for mine too! Just tired. :)
