Here in Utah there has been much talk and many news articles recently about the need for foster/resource families who are willing to take in teens. I came across this one today. This article emphasizes the need that exists and illustrates the truth....kids don't ask to be placed in foster care but when a loving family takes them home and loves them as their own the child is given a solid foundation to grow.
I am sure the need for families that will take teens isn't just a Utah thing. If you are interested and you live outside of Utah contact your local Department of Child and Family Services
